The lids do not secure tightly, they rest on top in grooves, however if you have someone that has arthritis or trouble opening things this is also a great gift idea.

“Must be hand washed”  We do not recommend placing these in the dishwasher, the container is fine, however the vinyl will fade or peel. Strongly recommend hand washing to make it last. We do not refund or replace egg cartons in this circumstance.
